Model 907D is configured with a desensitizing component to desensitize circulation materials during the self-checkout process for EM (electromagnetic) front-gates security systems. The calibrate feature of the Model 907D ensures digital materials will not be damaged by the security desensitizing process.

RFID Technology – The
FLASHSCAN
RFID™ option supports all ISO compliant RFID tags (ISO standards 16935 & 8000). Upon patron self-checkout,
FLASHSCAN
will toggle “OFF” the security bit of the RFID tag for passage through the RFID front-gates.

RF Technology – The
FLASHSCAN
patron automated intelligent checkout system can also be configured to address RF front-gates security systems. The unit will print an individual receipt for each circulation item checked out, and instruct the patron appropriately.
