SIP Compliant With ILS

FLASHSCAN is SIP certified for network interface with ILS circulation materials databases. FLASHSCAN utilizes this Library industry standard to interface with all ILS systems. Prior to delivery, LAT will conduct a SIP test with your Library to ensure complete compliance.

The purpose of the SIP standards in the Library industry is to facilitate interfacing with ILS Systems for confirmation of all the patron and circulation materials information. FLASHSCAN supports all the Library ILS systems via SIP1 or SIP2. FLASHSCAN is currently installed in Libraries utilizing ILS systems from Dynix, Endeavor, Exlibrus, GIS, III, SIRSI, and TLC.

FLASHSCAN empowers the Library to control the self-checkout process based on information, confirmed via SIP, in the ILS database. Thus, making FLASHSCAN flexible to both the current and future needs of the Library.
