FLASHSCAN ®Wireless Connectivity FLASHSCANis configured for wireless operation.
This allows FlashScan to operate wirelessly
regardless of the library's network. The product ships with everything required to connect to the Library’s network, wired or wireless. Wireless connectivity offers simple, cost effective network interface implementation. FLASHSCANwireless operation in the Library protect patron privacy via industry standard 128 WAP encryption of all transmitted data. FLASHSCAN wireless operation also protects the Library’s budget since no funds are needed for pulling cables and installing a new network drops. Prior to shippingFLASHSCAN , LAT will contact the Library’s IT department to confirm network connectivity policy at the Library, answer IT questions regarding FLASHSCAN as a network device, and review the installation plan with IT personnel.
