LAT-Central™ Extensions
LAT-Central
is a collection of enterprise management services that allows the library to manage
FLASHSCAN
units, via the network, from various PCs in IT, at the circ counter, on a librarian’s desk.
LAT-Central
is included with the purchase of
FLASHSCAN,
and can be loaded on as many PCs as the Library deems.
LAT-Central
consists of three key components:
• LAT-Remote™
for remote access to
FLASHSCAN
stations by Library personnel to remotely perform on-line, a variety of updates or changes to system parameters.
•
LAT
-InfoCenter™
is a complete reporting sub-system for analysis of
FLASHSCAN
utilization by patrons.
•
LAT-Alert™
constantly monitors the status of
FLASHSCAN
stations and will notify Library personnel when staff intervention is required.
LAT
-Central is invaluable to the Library. Managing self-checkout systems effectively is a necessity for achieving patron satisfaction with self-checkout services.
